About Pavel Mykhailiuk

Pavel Mykhailiuk, Dr. Sci., PhD
Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at Enamine Ltd.
Senior Scientist at National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv
I was born in Kerch, Crimea. In 2000, while in high school, I represented Ukraine at the 32d International Chemistry Olympiad, and won a bronze medal. That was the moment that I realized the passion that drives my career – synthetic organic chemistry.
I support students, PhD-students and professional chemists at Enamine Ltd. to select the scientific topics, plan research, and write the scientific manuscripts. I avidly follow the developments in organic chemistry, focusing on several novel areas: photochemistry, CH-activation and 3D-shaped biososters of benzene. This helps me to make our research not only interesting but useful for the field and pharmaceutical companies.
